Tata Power trades in green on the BSE

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 83.85, up by 0.15 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 86.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 86.40 and Rs. 83.10 respectively. So far 129465 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 91.25 on 03-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 67.10 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.40 and Rs. 82.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22679.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 50.67% and 16.18% respectively.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, and Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral cooperation through technical experience, knowledge sharing, information exchange and experience in the electricity distribution sector.

The MoU will cover technology exchange in areas such as power system operation and control, medium- and long-term planning, asset management (including maintenance methodologies), smart grid, flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS), renewable energy integration, power market studies and innovative technologies.
